My Men’s Group, which arrives at its 30th anniversary in ‘08, had the opportunity to view a program featuring Iraq veterans created for HDTV by Robbie Leppzer, our youngest member and a gifted documentary filmmaker. The 45 minute film features interviews with 5 veterans who describe their wartime experience and who have come out of their time in Iraq on different sides regarding their views on the war. One of the most incredible aspects of this documentary is that throughout the film it is very difficult if not impossible to tell which of the men will, at the end, be opposed to or in favor of the war. Before heading home to Wendell, Robbie discovered that it is possible to view the film on the computer. I highly recommend viewing as much of this as you can make time for.
